Cursurile se desfasoara in doua
etape, pentru incepatori si avansati. Centrul nostru de instruire
este dotat cu sali de clasa, cu posturi de lucru conectate in retea,
precum si cu toate facilitatile necesare (retroproiector, flipchart,
tabla). Toate sesiunile de training se vor desfasura in
intervalul 9,00-17,00, incluzand o pauza de masa de o ora (masa de
pranz este asigurata de catre S&T Romania). Cursantii
beneficiaza de materiale de curs originale. Pe intreaga perioada de
desfasurare a cursului, participantilor li se asigura accesul la un
calculator configurat adecvat, cu asistenta permanenta a
instructorului.

Centrul de
Asistenta Rurala (CAR) va organiza la Timisoara, in
perioada 14-16 martie 2002, in cadrul programului regional
East-East, un atelier de lucru ce vizeaza schimbul de experienta
intre trainerii pentru mediul rural din Europa de Sud-Est. Accentul
se va pune pe prezentarea unor modele de succes de Centre de
Training pentru Mediul Rural, in special pentru administratia
publica din mediul rural, centre care deja functioneaza in unele
tari din Europa de Vest, cum ar fi Anglia, Finlanda, Olanda,
Portugalia.
Un alt obiectiv al
intalnirii de lucru este înfiintarea unei retele europene de
traineri pentru mediul rural, care sa aiba o metodologie de predare
si o programa (curricula) comuna. In acest sens, Centrul de
Asistenta Rurala a creat deja o baza de date cu potentiali traineri
pentru mediul rural, (care este deschisa inca pentru noi inscrieri
si poate fi accesata pe pagina de internet www.rural-center.org), si
intentioneaza sa publice o revista de specialitate, in romana si
engleza, FORMAR.
CAR doreste sa înfiinteze
un Centru de Training pentru Mediul Rural in judetul Timis, care sa
deserveasca toata zona Balcanilor.
La atelierul de lucru
sunt invitati sa participe si sa impartaseasca din experienta lor
traineri din Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Moldova, Romania, Slovacia,
Ungaria, Anglia, Finlanda, Olanda si Portugalia.

Fellowship Program Supporting Central and Eastern European
students and young professionals for study in U.S. graduate programs
and professional development through open, merit-based competition.
Participants come from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria,
Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, and
Slovenia. The Ron Brown Fellowship program confers graduate degrees
and practical training for qualified applicants in certain
fields. The program was established in 1994 as the Central and
Eastern European Graduate Fellowship Program and was renamed in 1996
in honor of the U.S. Secretary of Commerce Ronald H. Brown, who died
in Croatia while promoting U.S. business interests in the
Balkans. The program reflects the late Secretary's commitment
to building democracy in the region and strengthening the global
economy. The Ron Brown Fellowship program seeks candidates with
leadership skills, English proficiency, high academic
qualifications, relevant professional experience, and a commitment
to return to their home country upon completion of the
program. Since 1994, the program has selected more than 200
individuals from Central and Eastern Europe who have participated in
the program's unique blend of rigorous academic work at leading U.S.
universities and three-months of professional development

SCHOOL ON RUSSIAN MEDIA "INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM" - 24 June -
5 July 2002 The Mass Media
Center of the School (Faculty) of Journalism at St. Petersburg State
University (SPbGU) is inviting journalists, scholars, educators,
students, and communication specialists from around the world to
take part in the Seventh Annual International Journalism Summer
School, beginning June 24. This is the excellent opportunity
to widen the view on media studies studying Russian media and
journalism in the political, economic, legal, ethnic, cultural and
environmental perspective. Leading university professors and
professional journalists will lead the two-week course, which will
include lectures and practical workshops devoted to several issues,
questions and problems related to investigative journalism. Courses
are given by the best faculty and staff of the School of
Journalism at St.Petersburg State University and experienced
professionals from a wide variety of St.Petersburg media. Summer
school participants will examine and discuss professional methods of
investigative journalism, "Kompromat" (compromising materials) in
journalism, journalism ethics and mass media regulation, and the
specific issues related to social, political, economic, and
environmental investigative journalism. Participants will have the
opportunity to discuss these topics with professional investigative
journalists during the site visits to media outlets and the Agency
for Investigative Journalism (AIR) of Andrey Konstantinov as well as
during a roundtable scheduled for July 5. The course also includes
an extensive cultural program, with sightseeing city bus tour and
excursions to the State Hermitage Museum, the Russian Museum,
Peterhoff, and the Marinsky Theater. Working languages: English and
Russian. The programme will be conducted in Russian, with English
translation. Registration until: 7 June 2002. The Mass Media
Center will provide participants with training, formal invitations
for visas, dormitory housing, lunches, visits to
St.Petersburg editorial boards, information package, video
film on the 2002 Summer School, group
photograph and sightseeing programme during the White Nights

visits to media and cultural programme) is 650 USD for
participants from western countries, 500 USD for
participants from developing countries as well as for
participants from Central and East European and Baltic
countries and 400 USD (in Russian Roubles) for

The
Collegium Helveticum of the Swiss Federal Institute of
Technology Zurich awards a Fellowship supported by the 'Zuger
Kulturstiftung Landis & Gyr' for an artist from Middle or
Eastern Europe who has completed graduate studies in multimedia arts
and/or has practical experience in the area of feature and
documentary film. The fellowship covers a six-month stay at the
Collegium Helveticum from mid October 2002 till mid April 2003. The
artist-in-residence is expected to participate in the intellectual
and social life of the Collegium Helveticum. This includes
communication about artistic processes and an interest in the
diverse material and discussions at the collegium; a command of
German and/or English is essential. The fellowship covers a fixed
budget for travel and living expenses during the stay in Zurich.
Working space, technical facilities (digital video equipment) and
material will be provided. Artists interested should submit their

Centrul
pentru Jurnalism Independent anunta un nou curs organizat
de South East European Network for Professionalization of Media (SEE
NPM). Cursul se adreseaza ziaristilor din departamentul economic si
se va desfasura la Sofia. Conform regulamentului retelei, fiecare
membru poate trimite un singur participant. Toate cheltuielile
legate de transport, cazare si masa sunt asigurate de SEE NPM.
Candidatii trebuie sa fie buni cunoscatori ai limbii engleze. SEE
NPM este o retea ce reuneste 17 centre sau institute de media din
sud-estul Europei. Reteaua ofera cursuri de pregatire pentru
jurnalisti si pentru trainerii de media si deruleaza programe de
schimburi de materiale jurnalistice. Reteaua este sustinuta
financiar de guvernul danez (prin programul FRESTA), de cel elvetian

festivalurile internationale BucurESTi.VEST, si "body_mind" -
Varsovia, si este invitata la Tanztendenzen" – Greifswald, Germania
(iunie "2002), "Baltoscandal", Rakvere, Estonia (iunie 2002),
Centrul National al Dansului, Paris, Franta (decembrie 2002).
Acelasi fragment din spectacol este invitat la Gala Extraordinara de
Balet organizata de Teatrul Odeon, martie 2002. "Si… acum?" -
coregrafia Silvia Mihai, interpreti: Andreea Duta, Elena Zamfirescu,
Silvia Mihai, coregrafia Silviei Mihai a primit premiul I la
Festivalul International de Creatie Coregrafica "EuroDans 2000" de
la Iasi. "Searching" - improvizatie coregrafica sustinuta de
cursantii Centrului MAD: Maria Trifu, Cristina Simion, Radu Mereuta.
Trei dintre cei mai talentati cursanti ai Centrului MAD, absolventi
ai primului an de cursuri de dans contemporan la clasa profesoarei
Ema Ciobanu, debuteaza artistic pe scena de la MAD, alaturi de
dansatorii si coregrafii profesionisti.
